A learner's guide to VidyaLMS

Sign in using the account your academy gave you or the one you used to buy or join a course. The website may use a top menu or a sidebar; your academy chooses the layout.

Find your learning

Explore courses shows the catalogue. Search by a title or keyword and use the available category filters. Open a course to read its description and access requirements.

My learning brings together courses you have joined. Use Start learning or Continue learning to enter the player. The resume area helps you pick up where you left off.

If your employer provides training, open Your organizations → View learning for that organization. A course offered by an organization is not necessarily assigned to you yet. Follow the available access action or ask your organization manager.

Move through a course

Use the course outline or lesson search to find an activity. Previous and next controls move between available lessons. The progress indicator shows completed learning, not simply how many pages you opened.

A locked lesson may require a previous lesson, passing quiz, instructor approval, or a release date. Read the requirement shown. Repeatedly pressing Next will not bypass it.

For a protected download, use the lesson's download button. If an old link expires, return to the lesson for a fresh link.

Take a quiz

Read the attempt limit, time limit, and feedback rules before starting. Complete the questions and watch for save or connection messages. Keep a timed attempt open and finish within its allowed time; closing a tab is not a pause button.

Submit once and wait for confirmation. Some questions are marked immediately. Others wait for an instructor, so a submitted attempt may not yet have a final result.

If the connection fails, reopen the existing attempt and check its status before starting another one.

Submit practical work

Open the assignment and read its instructions, allowed file types, file count, and size limits. Select your photos or files, remove any mistaken selections, and add the requested notes.

Choose Submit for assessment and wait for confirmation. Your next required lesson can stay locked while the instructor reviews the work.

Return to the assignment to see the score, rubric, feedback, and earlier attempts. If the instructor requests a resubmission, use the new submission action after making the requested improvements. Previous attempts remain in the history.

Certificates and achievements

When you meet the course's completion requirements, the academy may issue a certificate or another achievement. Check Achievements or the certificate links supplied with your learning. A certificate may take a little time to prepare.

For a missing certificate, first check whether every required assessment is complete and graded.

Messages, orders, and subscriptions

Use Notification preferences to choose the available message frequencies. Essential account or credential messages may still be sent as explained on the page.

For purchases, use the connected shop account. On Joomla, Account opens EasyCommerce, including its orders and subscriptions. On WordPress, use the WooCommerce account area. Contact the academy about refunds or billing; those are handled by the shop.

When asking for help, include the course, lesson, approximate time, and the message you saw. Never send your password or private sign-in token.
